Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in delivering high-quality nursing care in a warm, home-like environment. You will assess, document, and coordinate resident care, while mentoring care staff and collaborating with the care team to support independence.

Requirements include an active RN license in the state and CPR certification, 1–2 years of experience, and a heart for elder care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved RN program.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with elderly care highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, communicate, and document residents’ status.
• Observe and report significant changes to care team per regulations.
• Direct and supervise daily work of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentor Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinate care needs with community providers via case management.
• Balance service demands with resident independence.
• Recognize and report elder abuse per state regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and use personal emergency response system.
