Job summary

The Highland Oaks Health Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team in McConnelsville, OH. The RN will provide direct resident care, administer medications, monitor conditions, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Responsibilities include following physician orders, documenting accurately, developing care plans, supervising nursing staff, and participating in admissions and discharge processes.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate concerns appropriately.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Develop and update resident care plans.
• Supervise and support nursing assistants and other care staff.
• Promote resident dignity, independence, and quality of life.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Participate in admissions, transfers, and discharge processes.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and resident needs.
