Job summary

Atrium Health seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care across units. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families throughout the continuum of care.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, adjusting plans, and collaborating with the care team to optimize outcomes. You will maintain accurate EHR documentation and may float between units to meet patient needs. BLS and RN licensure are required, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where services are provided.
• Telehealth/telenursing licensing may be required depending on service area.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units or facilities within the designated service area to meet patient care needs.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and ethical decision-making, supporting unbiased patient care.
