The Laurels of Fulton in Michigan is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to lead clinical care delivery on assigned shifts, assess and plan resident care, and supervise LPNs, CNAs, and other staff. You will ensure safety, quality care, and compliance with regulations, while guiding daily operations and staffing decisions.

Formación

• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute preferred.
• Current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises LPNs, Medication Aides, CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities.
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety.
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed.
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands.
• Completes performance evaluations and provides input on hiring, disciplining, or terminating staff.
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns.
• Oversee unit operations during absence of higher-level management.
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
