Job summary

The Laurels of Fulton in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our caring team. This full-time role includes day shifts 6:00am-6:30pm and full/part-time night shifts 6:00pm-6:30am, with opportunities to lead and mentor other staff in a long-term care setting.

You will plan, coordinate and deliver nursing care, supervise LPNs and CNAs, manage medications, assess residents, and develop plans of care to promote safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in Michigan is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• 1–3 years of long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care for guests.
• Supervise LPNs, CNAs, STNAs and other team members.
• Administer and monitor medications safely and accurately.
• Assess guests' health, notify physicians of changes, and implement orders.
• Develop and implement care plans based on assessments.
• Institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize conditions.
• Contribute to guest assessments and care planning (MDS/CAA).
