Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our patient-centered care team. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care using the Christ Hospital model and SBAR handoffs with the care team.

The role stresses safety, ongoing education, leadership, and collaboration with physicians and families. Ohio RN licensure, BLS is required, ACLS within 6 months in certain units, and BSN within five years where applicable.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Ohio (active) and current license verification.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months in applicable units.
• BSN within five years of hire (where applicable) as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic assessment of patients’ physical, psychosocial, spiritual and education needs.
• Develop, implement and revise the plan of care in collaboration with patient and family.
• Communicate plan of care via SBAR and handoff to the health team.
• Participate in discharge planning and referrals as needed.
• Provide ongoing education to patient and family and maintain patient safety.
• Engage in leadership development, professional growth and peer mentoring.
