Job summary

CareOne at Newton is hiring an Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting in Newton, MA. The role includes shift coordination, supervision of LPNs and CNAs, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality resident care.

Applicants should have an Associate's Degree in Nursing, an active RN license in the state of practice, and at least 1 year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
• 1 year of related nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with the nursing process.
• May be assigned to function as Medication/Treatment Nurse, unit Charge Nurse, or Supervisor.
• Direct day to day functions of LPNs and CNAs, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
• Provide assessment of resident conditions and respond using the nursing process.
• Work with the interdisciplinary team to maintain high standards of care.
• Document care and services rendered according to facility policies.
• Complete reports such as 24-hour change in condition, incident and accident reports.
