Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in state of employment.
• LPNs considered where RN is present.
• Previous MDS/RAI experience.
• Knowledge of PDPM, managed care reimbursement, utilization and case management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the RAI process and ensure accurate MDS assessments.
• Ensure timely MDS assessments per state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to document resident care in records.
• Provide education on the RAI process to center staff.
• Coordinate electronic submissions of MDSs as required by regulations.
• Monitor Quality Measures and adjust processes with the team.
• Maintain communication with insurance case managers and regulatory bodies.
