Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Cardiovascular Surgery ICU team. The role requires direct patient care, adherence to care plans, and collaboration with physicians and families.

Hillcrest Hospital’s Cardiovascular Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) is part of a comprehensive cardiothoracic and vascular program that cares for pre- and post-operative open heart, thoracic and vascular surgery patients, diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization patients with associated interventions, such as percutaneous cardiac angioplasty and stent placement, ablations and pacemaker/internal cardiac defibrillator insertions, and general med/surg ICU/CCU overflow patients. As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care by interacting directly with patients, families, and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare information as needed. This position requires a caregiver who is empathetic, understanding and nurturing to ensure quality patient care and effective life‑saving treatment.

A caregiver in this position works day/night rotation from 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. with every other weekend and holiday requirements.

Physical Requirements:

• Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye‑hand coordination.
• Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
• Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
• Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
• Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $35.50

Maximum hourly: $55.60
