Job summary

Corewell Health's Royal Oak Hospital 2 East unit seeks a dedicated RN for surgical critical care. You will work with a team delivering high-level cardiovascular and general surgery patient care, using the nursing process and family-centered approaches.

The role requires MI RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and a commitment to ongoing certification. Night shift, full-time hours, and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelors in Nursing required within 5 years.
• Graduates from a non-accredited nursing school must have at least one year of acute care experience or two years in a licensed health care role and must have passed the NCLEX.
• Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• ACLS required within 6 months; specialty certification encouraged within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process and patient/family-centered care principles.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge as part of core responsibilities under Nurse Leader guidance.
• Ensure adherence to Corewell Health policies and procedures and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
