Corewell Health is seeking a Part-time Pediatric Oncology/Hematology nursing professional in Grand Rapids. You will educate families, coordinate follow-up care, and support clinical management across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Required Bachelor's Degree Nursing.
• Preferred Master's Degree Nursing.
• 5 years of nursing or CDE clinical experience.
• Prior teaching with patients of all ages preferred.
• RN license in STATE_MI upon hire.
• BLS certification required (AHA/ARC).
• ONCC Oncology Certification required.
• ACLS or PALS required.

Scope of work

Responsible for providing quality education, follow-up and emotional support to the population and their families. Case manages the population throughout the inpatient and outpatient settings and measures outcomes to maximize continuity of care between the settings. Manages projects and programs related to clinical management, performing quality improvement activities to measure program processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Required Bachelor's Degree Nursing
• Preferred Master's Degree Nursing
• 5 years of previous nursing or CDE clinical experience Required
• Prior teaching with patients of all ages Preferred
• LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
• CRT-Oncology Certified Nurse - ONCC Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation 1 year Required
• CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA American Heart Association 120 days Required or CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) – AHA American Heart Association 120 days Required
