Job summary

Wellstar Health Systems, Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking an RN Clinical Nurse for the Med/Surg Cardiac unit on the night shift (7pm–7am). This full-time role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team and Wellstar's shared governance model.

You will uphold nursing standards, participate in quality improvement, and support service excellence while providing evidence-based care to diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing or nursing diploma required.
• RN license valid in Georgia at hire; multi-state license preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS may be required on unit.
• Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing process with evidence-based practice on a cardiac med/surg unit.
• Provide patient- and family-centered care adapting to cultural diversity.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for safe, high-quality care.
• Document and communicate effectively to ensure continuity of care.
