Job summary

Wellstar Health System invites applications for an RN Clinical Nurse on our Cobb Hospital 21-bed unit, night shift from 7pm to 7am. You will join an interdisciplinary team delivering individualized, high-quality patient care aligned with our Professional Practice Model and shared governance.

Ideal candidates demonstrate nursing licensure, commitment to evidence-based practice, and the ability to support diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing or Diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• RN license (single-state or compact).
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications upon hire (or instructor variants).

Responsibilities

• Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
• Provide relationship-based patient-centered care reflecting diverse populations.
• Collaborate with patients and families to align goals with the care plan.
• Coordinate safe, high-quality patient care and documentation across the care team.
• Support performance improvement and shared governance initiatives.
