Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an experienced RN for Acute Care – Cardiac Telemetry on a full-time night shift. The RN will practice in a collaborative, evidence-based environment with a focus on patient-centered care and safety.

The role requires strong critical thinking, communication, and interprofessional teamwork to meet patient needs. The successful candidate will have an active RN license, at least 2 years of direct patient care experience, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing, or BSN preferred.
• Active RN license (single state or compact) required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years direct patient care nursing experience.
• Excellent English communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care respectful of diversity.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Document care accurately and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Support governance, standards, and policy adherence within Wellstar.
