Job summary

Wellstar Health System Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking an RN Clinical Nurse for the 21-bed MedSurg Cardiac unit on the Night shift (7pm-7am). You will work with an interdisciplinary team to provide individualized, high quality, safe patient care.

The role follows the Wellstar Professional Practice Model, supports evidence-based practice, and requires Georgia RN license and BLS. You will precept staff and participate in shared governance.

Qualifications

• RN must be licensed and in good standing.
• Education: ADN or Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Less than 1 year direct patient care experience preferred but not required.
• BLS certification required at hire or in process.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provides patient-centered care across diverse populations.
• Partners with patients and families using effective communication and interdisciplinary rounds.
• Engages in performance improvement and supports evidence-based practice.
