Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO seeks a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident for the 4H Cardiac Progressive Care unit. The role is full-time (36 hours/week) with a 12-hour day shift (7:00am–7:30pm).

Eligible RNs can access sign-on incentives and bridging programs to advance from ASN/ADN to BSN and BSN to MSN. The position emphasizes patient-centered care, professional accountability, confidentiality, and collaboration with other departments to coordinate care and improve

Formación

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification at time of hire (or within 30 days).
• Ability to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

Overview:
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Department: 4H Cardiac Progressive Care

Status: Full-Time - 36 hours/week

Shift: 12 Hour Days (7:00am - 7:30pm)

Qualifications:

• Required Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).




• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.




• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Other unit specific certifications as required.
