RN Cardiac Intermediate Care
About the Role
As an RN Cardiac Intermediate Care, your voice influences patient care through open communication and collaboration with your manager and through professional participation. You will help shape decisions that elevate patient outcomes and nursing practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting changes in status.
- Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
- Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
- Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in care of cardiac and medical‑surgical patients.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or ACLS Instructor qualification, or an Associate Degree, Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or BCLS Instructor qualification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- No travel required.
- Experience: None required.
