Job summary

Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Medical Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit. This 39-bed unit features telemetry and a telemetry hub, caring for cardiac, telemetry, behavioral, and intermediate ICU stepdown patients.

The RN will work 48 hours every two weeks, with 12-hour night shifts from 7pm to 7:30am and every third weekend. The role reports to the Nurse Manager and works with a team including APRN, education specialist, and telemetry staff.

Qualifications

• MN Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and identify expected nursing outcomes.
• Develop an individualized nursing plan of care.
• Coordinate care with the health care team and delegates as appropriate.
• Involve patient and family in care decisions and education.
