Job summary

Novant Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care Unit (ICCU) at Mint Hill Medical Center. The role supports high-acuity care, continuous cardiac telemetry, and complex medical conditions, with a 7p-7a PT Night shift.

The ICU environment emphasizes comprehensive assessments, medication administration, education for patients and families, and close collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• RN licensure current in appropriate state required.
• 1 year relevant experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; if license lapsed for 5+ years, refresher course is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead care with the healthcare team by creating and evaluating an individualized plan of care.
• Administer medications and advanced therapies; monitor cardiac rhythms and patient conditions.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate with physicians and care team to promote optimal outcomes.
