Job summary

Advocate Health's Downers Grove-based Cardiac Unit 30 is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a 32-bed unit specialized in complex heart conditions. This full-time night shift (7pm–7:30am) offers 36 hours weekly with 4- to 5-patient ratios, working alongside a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include coordinating care using the nursing process, delivering evidence-based, safe therapies, and supporting patients and families during acute cardiac events and

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice and strong communication.
