Job summary

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). The CICU is a 12‑bed unit caring for overflow patients from the Medical ICU and other critical care diagnoses.

This role is night shift, full-time, offering exposure to a broad spectrum of cardiac and critical cases. You will work within a renowned Johns Hopkins system, collaborating with a dedicated team, and contributing to exceptional patient care while pursuing professional growth

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) is required.
• BSN is preferred; applicants with an ADN must matriculate into a BSN program.
• Current MD or compact/multi-state RN license is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Minimum six months of nursing experience is required; one year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the 12‑bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) for overflow from MICU and other CC diagnoses.
• Care for a wide variety of cardiac and critical care patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality patient care.

As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU), a 12-bed unit, you will be privileged to provide care to overflow patients from Medical ICU, RRT distress, and other CC diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) (Required),
• Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) (Preferred) and
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing will be considered. Per nursing guidelines, must matriculate into a Bachelor of Nursing program.
• Current MD or compact/multi-state RN - Registered Nurse License (Required)
• CPR - Basic CPR (Required)
• Minimum six (6) months of nursing experience (Required)
• 1 year of nursing experience (Preferred)

Salary Range: Minimum 39.64/hour - Maximum 61.45/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
