Job summary

Inova Schar Heart and Vascular Cardiac Diagnostics is hiring a full-time RN to join their Cardiac Diagnostics team in Fairfax, VA. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm; no nights, weekends, or holidays. Location: 8081 Innovation Park Dr, Fairfax.

You will set up and monitor patients for stress testing, perform EKG rhythm identification, prep patients, provide emergency support, and collaborate with physicians and staff in a fast-paced cardiology setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Licensed RN or eligible for Virginia licensure.
• BSN from an accredited school; ADN holders must complete BSN within 5 years of start.

Responsibilities

• Set up and monitor patients for stress testing (including nuclear, pharmacological, stress echo, and treadmill studies).
• Identify and interpret EKG rhythm (training provided).
• Prep patients for stress testing procedures.
• Provide emergency support to patients and assist physicians, nurse practitioners and staff.
