Job summary

Inova Schar Heart and Vascular Cardiac Diagnostics in Falls Church, VA is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cardiac Diagnostics team. The role is day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with no nights, weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities include stress testing setup and monitoring, EKG rhythm identification, patient prep, and emergency support. Qualifications include 1 year RN experience, BLS certification, and Virginia RN licensure or eligibility.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience in a clinical setting.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• Licensed Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Set up and monitor patients for stress testing including nuclear, pharmacological, stress echo and treadmill studies.
• Identify and interpret EKG rhythms (training provided).
• Prepare patients for stress testing procedures.
• Provide emergency support to patients as needed.
• Support physicians, nurse practitioners and other staff.
