Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Cath Lab on a PRN basis in Houston. The role supports high-quality, efficient patient care and offers exposure to a range of cardiology procedures within a leading healthcare system.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of Critical Care nursing experience, Texas RN licensure (or multi-state), and BLS/ACLS certification. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of Critical Care Nursing experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Texas RN License or Multi-State Compact License required; TX license within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for assigned patients.
• Assist with all procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Scrub, circulate and record during procedures.
• Monitor patient status to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Responsible for on-call participation.
