Job summary

US Heart and Vascular is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join the Orion Medical Ambulatory Surgery Center in Houston, TX. The role focuses on invasive cardiovascular nursing care, with extensive involvement in Cath Lab and EP Lab procedures, pre- and post-operative care, and interdepartmental collaboration under credentialed physicians.

Qualifications include an active TX RN license, BLS/ACLS certifications, and at least 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience; CVRN II or CCRN, RCIS, RCES are

Qualifications

• RN with current license to practice in TX.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and document nursing care for cath lab/EP patients.
• Assist in cardiac catheterization, EP, and interventional procedures.
• Administer medications and manage moderate sedation under physician direction.
• Ensure patient safety and quality through documentation per standards.
• Maintain readiness and equipment for Cath Lab and EP procedures.
