Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Catheterization/IR Laboratory. You will provide comprehensive nursing care pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, ensuring patient safety and effective communication with the medical team.

The role requires Texas RN licensure or eligibility, graduating from an accredited nursing program, BLS certification, and about 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in cath lab settings.

Qualifications

• Texas RN license required or proof of application
• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing
• BLS Certification required
• 1 year experience in nursing, preferably in cath lab or interventional setting

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care during pre-op, intra-op, and post-op in the Cath Lab/IR suite
• Communicate with physicians, co-workers, and patient families to ensure safe, effective care
• Delegate nursing tasks based on patient needs and staff capabilities
• Maintain intraoperative records and adhere to hospital policies and patient safety standards
