Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic’s Fairview Hospital as an RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab, providing professional nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization. Work 7:00am–5:30pm with on-call requirements, in a center renowned for advanced diagnostics and patient care.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, coordinate care, and contribute to discharge planning while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• One year of recent experience as an RN.
• Two years of recent experience as an RN (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services.
• Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, document findings, and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
• Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
• Perform nursing procedures and administer treatments and medications.
• Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families and the health care team.
• Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs and facilitate discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles in the department.
