Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic Health System's Main Campus in Cleveland as an RN HOPS in the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will support advanced cardiovascular care alongside physicians and a multidisciplinary team, caring for adults with a wide range of conditions.

Two types of shifts are described (two 8-hour and two 12-hour shifts) with an on-call component after training. The team emphasizes world-class patient care and career growth in a leading healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
• One year of recent experience as an RN.
• OR licensed RN with 2+ years LPN experience in the same dept may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services in the cardiac cath lab.
• Assess patients, document findings, and notify physicians of abnormal results.
• Perform telephone triage and participate in call rotations.
• Administer treatments and medications; establish care plans with the team.
• Coordinate discharge planning and ongoing care with patients and families.

Education

Nursing degree (Diploma/ADN/BSN)

RN license

BLS certification

ACLS certification within 6 months

RN experience (1 year)

LPN substitution in same dept allowed
