Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital in Cleveland, OH is seeking an RN to join the Cardiac Cath Lab team. You will support cardiologists during invasive procedures and provide expert patient care throughout the electrophysiology and related labs.

This full-time, day-shift role requires ADN/BSN and RN licensure, with at least one year of RN experience. BLS is required; ACLS preferred. The position offers competitive pay and relocation, loan repayment, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN) required.
• One year of recent RN experience required.
• OR Licensed RN with at least 2 years of LPN experience within the same Cleveland Clinic procedural department.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional patient care.
• Support cardiologists during invasive procedures involving the electrical system of the heart.
• Interact directly with patients, families, and visitors, offering healthcare education.
• Assess patients and complete nursing assessments.
• Document findings in patient records and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
• Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
• Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Coordinate ongoing care and facilitate discharge planning.
• Evaluate, initiate, and maintain standards of care.
• Educate patients and families.
