Job summary

Mercy Health in Youngstown, OH is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The role coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team, plans treatments, and educates patients and families across their lifespan.

You will perform assessments, administer medications, and participate in on-call coverage for STEMI, ensuring safe, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. RN licensure and cath lab/telemetry experience required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice or compact (required).
• BSN preferred; strong clinical knowledge across care settings.
• 1 year RN experience in telemetry/critical care/cath lab/ER/OR (required).
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment and plan of care.
• Administer medications safely per policies and procedures.
• Coordinate patient care across hospital departments and teams.
• Act as patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvements.
• Serve as care coordination point for families and caregivers.
• Respond quickly to changing patient conditions with clinical judgement.
