Job summary

Mercy Health in Youngstown, OH is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse to coordinate, plan, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the care team, within the nursing process framework. The RN leads patient teaching, ensures safety, and supports continuous quality improvement across the department.

Essential qualifications include a current RN license, 1 year of RN experience in telemetry or cardiac cath lab, BLS/ACLS/PALS preferences, and EPIC EHR familiarity.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• 1 year RN experience in telemetry, critical care, cardiac cath lab, ER, or OR.
• EPIC EHR experience preferred.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications preferred.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and develop a plan of care with the team.
• Safely administer medications per policies.
• Coordinate patient care across hospital departments.
• Lead patient teaching and advocate for safety and quality.
• Function as scrub nurse and circulator as assigned.
