Job summary

Ohio State University seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the EP/Cardiovascular Lab at East Hospital. The role involves direct patient care for diagnostic/interventional cases in a Level II environment, with emphasis on cardiac catheterization, EP, and IR procedures.

The Inpatient RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, guiding a care team, with opportunity for leadership as a charge nurse. Full-time, day shift, 36 hours with comprehensive safety standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program required.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic/interventional procedures in a fast-paced cardiovascular lab.
• Perform pre-, intra-, and post-procedural nursing care, patient assessment and monitoring.
• Administer medications and monitor hemodynamic and rhythm data.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
• Participate in STEMI call rotation and, when needed, assume charge nurse responsibilities.
