Job summary

BJC Health Systems is seeking an experienced RN to coordinate outpatient Cardiac Cath Lab care at the WashU Heart Care Institute on Barnes Jewish West County Campus. This role supports patient education, prep and post-care activities, and collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure safe, efficient care.

The position is Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm, with no nights, weekends, or on-call. RN licensure required; 2–5 years Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensed with Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree.
• 2–5 years of relevant clinical experience, especially in cardiac care.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care across the continuum for outpatient Cardiac Cath Lab services.
• Educate patients and families and prepare them for procedures with the clinical team.
• Monitor and ensure safe, evidence-based patient care and outcomes.
• Act as a resource to the health care team and support business goals.
