The Cardiac Cath Lab RN position in San Jose, CA is a 13-week contract with day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. ARMStaffing places highly skilled RNs in fast-paced hospital environments, focusing on cardiac and neuro procedures and close collaboration with respiratory therapists.

Qualified candidates hold a valid RN license with ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications; experience in neuro or electrophysiology is a plus.

Job Description

The Cardiac Cath Lab unit at the Main Hospital focuses on a range of cardiac and neuro procedures. The unit is equipped with 4 Cath Lab rooms and staffed by a team of 20 registered nurses. The nurses work alongside respiratory therapists to provide comprehensive care in a fast-paced environment. Typical procedures include cardiac catheterizations, heart caths, peripheral procedures, and complex neuro interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in catheterization procedures and other interventions.
• Monitor patient vitals and ensure their comfort and safety.
• Coordinate care with RTs and other healthcare professionals.
• Document patient care and procedural details utilizing the MacLab Meditech EMR system.

Required Experience

• Valid RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
• Experience in neuro and electrophysiology is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
