Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a 16-week contract in Baltimore, MD. The role primarily serves as a scrub tech in the cardiac catheterization lab, with independence in scrubbing cases and ensuring sterile technique.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience, Maryland (or compact state) RN licensure, and current ACLS/BLS certifications, with RCIS/ARRT/RTR preferred for additional responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience.
• Active RN license in Maryland or compact state.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and RCIS or ARRT or RTR.
• Previous charge experience preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 4x10 hours from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM. Every other weekend and required holidays as scheduled. On-call duty involves 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will primarily fill the role of a scrub tech in the cardiac catheterization lab. The ideal candidate will possess recent experience and demonstrate the ability to scrub cases independently.

Responsibilities

• Scrubbing and assisting with various cardiac procedures.
• Ensuring a sterile field during procedures.
• Collaborating with the medical team to deliver quality patient care.
• Monitoring patient responses during procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience.
• Active RN license in Maryland or compact state.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and either RCIS or ARRT or RTR.
