ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab in Pontiac, MI on a 13-week contract. The role requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, plus weekend call roughly every other weekend and 1–3 nights per week, totaling about 10–12 nights monthly. Must have CN/LPN expertise?

Qualifications

• Two years of nursing experience in Cath Lab or similar setting.
• Active RN license; BLS and ACLS required.
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab environment.
• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist with setup and operation of Cath Lab equipment.
• Document patient information in the electronic health record.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires 40 hours of work per week, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The schedule also includes a weekend call rotation, approximately every other weekend (Friday to Monday) and 1-3 nights weekly, totaling about 10-12 nights per month. A 30-minute response time is required for calls.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab will provide skilled nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. This role will involve using advanced medical technology and working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout their treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab environment.
• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist the healthcare team in the setup and operation of Cath Lab equipment.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans.
• Participate in department safety and quality improvement initiatives.

Required Experience

Two years of nursing experience, particularly in a Cath Lab or comparable setting, is required. Previous experience with Epic and familiarity with Cannon and Siemens equipment is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
