Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a Registered Nurse for the Burn Unit. This full-time night shift position (7pm–7am) involves 36 hours per week across three shifts, including every third weekend and holiday rotation, in a 24-bed burn center that treats adults and pediatrics.

You will work in a high-acuity burn service with diverse surgical patients, applying evidence-based nursing care and advanced wound management in a verified Burn Center setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS are required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of Med/Surg experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and effective communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
