Job summary

A healthcare staffing agency is looking for a dedicated ICU Nurse to join their high-acuity Burn ICU unit in Nashville, TN. In this role, you will provide critical care for patients with severe burns and traumatic injuries, looking after no more than two patients at a time. The successful candidate should have Med/surg experience and certifications in BLS and ACLS. Exceptional nursing care and patient safety will be a priority. Join our high-acuity Burn ICU unit, providing critical care to patients with severe burns and traumatic injuries. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Care for a maximum of 2 ICU patients at one time, adhering to strict patient ratios.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment such as ventilators and specialty beds.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech.
• Collaborate with a diverse team, including Charge RNs, RNs, and PCTs.
• Participate in the unit's weekend staffing requirements, with a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per schedule.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have Med/surg experience.
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS.

Dress Code: Required uniform is navy scrubs.
