Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA seeks an RN for Burn Trauma, Intermediate Care - Medical/Surgical Unit. The unit is a 34-bed IMC/Med-Surg area with a focus on neurosurgery, trauma, burns, and orthopedic trauma. 7a-7p, 7p-7a shifts available, plus weekend premium shifts.

A sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and relocation support may be offered. New graduates are welcome to apply. Starting pay for new grads is $36.00/hour, with a base pay range of $41.93–$61.01 hourly for full-time

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing is required.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Students in the process of completing an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care using the nursing process.
• Uphold ethics, professional performance, and standards of care.
• Collaborate with the care team to meet patient needs in Burn Trauma/IMC/Med-Surg.
• Support new graduates through orientation and residency programs.
