Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for Burn Trauma Intermediate Care & Med-Surg. This 14-week assignment offers a $70.00/hr pay rate for a Night shift traveler on a 34-bed Burn Trauma unit with IMCU and Medical/Surgical care.

The role requires 2+ years of acute care RN experience and Virginia or Compact licensure, with BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale credentials often preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required (AS/BS/MS or diploma).
• Virginia or Compact Multi-State license in good standing.
• BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale certifications preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care hospital RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to trauma/burn and IMCU patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to maintain standards of care.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in clinical condition.
• Document care and coordinate with physicians and family members.
