Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse to support the Burn Trauma IMCU and Med-Surg floor on a 14-week assignment. The role is a Night Shift with a pay rate of $70.00/hr and is temporary full time with no benefits.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of acute care RN experience, and must hold a Virginia or Compact state license with BLS, ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications.

Qualifications

• Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field.
• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• ACLS.
• NIH Stroke Scale.

Responsibilities

• Nurses work on Burn Trauma IMCU and Medical/Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 3–4 and 5–6 respectively.
• Collaborate with a team to maintain nursing standards and patient care.
• Provide care for neurosurgery, trauma, burns, and orthopedic trauma patients.
