Job summary

AdventHealth in Hendersonville, NC is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for night shift to provide comprehensive patient care. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, educate families, and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate's Degree in Nursing with BLS certification, and have strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills. This role supports our mission of extending healing ministry.

Qualifications

• Assess patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care to promote understanding.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and teamwork.
• Evaluate and revise plans of care based on patient outcomes.
• Document care activities and ensure compliance with protocols.
