Job summary

Lifepoint Health’s Cottonwood Springs facility in Kansas is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN). You will assess patients, plan care, supervise the shift, and lead nursing teams to ensure adherence to policies and high-quality patient care.

The role requires a Kansas or Compact RN license, ADN, and BLS, with BSN preferred. Schedule: FT days, 7a–7p, rotating weekends/on-call/holidays; benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Current Kansas or Compact State RN license.
• ADN from an accredited nursing school.
• BSN preferred; Associates required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, Handle with Care preferred; CPR and De-escalation certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and plan care within set timeframes and document findings.
• Oversee and supervise the shift.
• Demonstrate leadership through delegating tasks and supervising groups.
• Ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed and high-quality care is delivered.
• Monitor patient condition and notify physician as needed.
• Administer medications per hospital policy.
• Show empathy, dignity, and respect in interactions.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for all patients.
