Job summary

Century Care Management Inc. is seeking an experienced registered nurse to supervise the nursing station on each shift, organize tasks, and supervise LPNs and CNAs. You will conduct rounds, assess residents, and administer medications in a long-term care setting.

The role requires an ADN or BSN, active RN license, and knowledge of care planning, wound care, IV therapy (where permitted), and regulatory requirements. Strong leadership and communication with interdisciplinary teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing activities on each shift and assign tasks based on resident needs and staff qualifications.
• Conduct rounds to assess residents' physical, emotional, and social needs.
• Prepare and administer medications; chart as required and provide treatments.
• Consult with physicians and communicate with the director of nursing and staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and company policies.

supervise nursing activities of his/her nursing station on each shift; organize and assign jobs to be accomplished on each shift based upon resident population, staff qualifications, and physical structure; make rounds to observe and evaluate physical, emotional and social needs of residents; prepare and administer medications; chart as required; give treatments; consult with physicians; communicate with director of nursing and staff.The person holding this position is delegated responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.QualificationsGraduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing preferred.Comprehensive knowledge of nursing processes, care planning, and clinical assessment.Ability to perform comprehensive resident assessments and develop individualized care plans.Skilled in medication administration, wound care, IV therapy (where permitted), and complex clinical interventions.Strong leadership abilities with experience supervising LPNs, CNAs, and other support staff.Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing long-term care facilities, including standards established by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.Experience with quality improvement initiatives, infection control programs, and regulatory compliance.Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems.Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and clinical decision-making skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.Commitment to resident-centered care, advocacy, and maintaining resident dignity and safety.Current CPR/BLS certification
