Job summary

Mercy Hospital seeks a registered nurse to lead the Bariatric Program. You will develop, promote and coordinate bariatric services, align with Mercy's standards and engage in data collection, reporting and quality improvement.

The role requires Bariatric knowledge, RN licensure, and strong communication with the care team. Proficiency in EMR, budgeting and interdepartmental collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in the state of practice.
• Knowledge of bariatric surgery, bariatric care, and related needs.
• Experience with program development, operations, presentations and budgeting.
• Proficiency in using EMR; data collection and report writing preferred.
• Strong ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Excellent computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, promote and coordinate the Bariatric Program and services at Mercy Hospital.
• Perform duties consistent with established standards and Mercy's philosophy and code of conduct.
• Use of EMR for chart review, data collection and reporting.
• Engage in data entry, databases and data registries to support program quality and outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and build interdepartmental relationships.
