Job summary

Mercy Hospital seeks a dedicated RN to lead the Bariatric Program development, promotion and coordination. The role requires RN licensure in Oklahoma and familiarity with bariatric care, EMR usage and data reporting. Strong teamwork, communication in English, and problem-solving are essential, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN is required and must be licensed in Oklahoma.
• Graduate from an accredited RN nursing school.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred (BSN).
• Knowledge of bariatric surgery and bariatric patient care.
• Experience with data entry, data bases and data registries preferred.
• Excellent computer skills for presentations and reports.
• Basic Life Support certification current.

Responsibilities

• Develop, promote and coordinate the Bariatric Program at Mercy Hospital.
• Perform duties aligned with Mercy's standards and code of conduct.
• Utilize EMR; conduct chart reviews and data collection.
• Prepare reports and presentations; manage budgets related to the program.
• Collaborate with interdepartmental teams and external stakeholders.
• Provide quality bedside patient care as part of program delivery.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nursing

RN licensure in state of practice
