Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking an RN to develop, promote and coordinate the Bariatric Program and services, ensuring patient-centered care across departments.

The role requires leadership in program development, data collection and reporting, and strong collaboration with clinical teams to advance bariatric care excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with EMR and budgeting is preferred, and BSN is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited RN nursing school.
• Current RN in the state of practice.
• Knowledgeable regarding bariatric surgery, bariatric care and special needs related to the bariatric patient.
• Certification/Registration: Current Basic Life Support.
• Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Preferred Certification/Registration: Certified Bariatric Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Develop, promote and coordinate the Bariatric Program and services at Mercy Hospital.
• Performs duties consistent with the established stand of practice, the goal of Mercy, and within the philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy and the Employee Code of Conduct.
