Job summary

The RN - Assistant Nurse Manager FT 7p at Baptist Medical Center South assists the Nurse Manager with daily unit operations and coordinates activities to deliver high-quality patient care aligned with Baptist Health standards.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, this role acts as a coach and mentor, participates in interviewing, scheduling, and competency verification, and helps drive performance improvement and team collaboration across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Active RN license; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required.
• 3 years in Oncology at MCC; Charge Nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and implement day-to-day unit operations.
• Coordinate and evaluate unit activities to ensure quality patient care.
• Coach, mentor, and supervise staff; assist with interviewing and performance evaluations.
