Job summary

Apploi is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing for Green Palms Health & Rehab of Wintersville to join our leadership team. This role leads nursing services, supports policy development, and ensures high-quality resident care while fostering staff development.

You will supervise licensed nurses and nursing aides, participate in QA initiatives, and build strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a long-term care setting.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in staff supervision and development.
• Current RN licensure in the state.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field.
• Willing to be in an on-call rotation.
• Willing to become Infection Prevention certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative leadership and support to the Director of Nursing in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the care team to develop individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met
• Supervise and mentor a team of licensed nurses, nursing assistants, and other support staff to ensure high-quality care and service delivery
• Participate in quality assessment and improvement initiatives to drive excellence in patient care and satisfaction
• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and healthcare partners to ensure seamless transitions and communication
