Rosedale Health and Rehab is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing and lead daily nursing operations in a skilled nursing setting in Richmond, Virginia.

You'll mentor nursing staff, participate in staffing and hiring, and drive regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives. This full-time role offers opportunities for advancement within a collaborative, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing leadership experience in SNF/LTC.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and CMS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with oversight of nursing operations.
• Support staffing, scheduling, and coordination to ensure clinical coverage.
• Provide hands-on clinical guidance and mentorship to nursing staff.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, coaching, and evaluations.
• Conduct audits and ensure CMS compliance.
• Support care planning, assessments, and quality initiatives.
• Assist with infection control and risk management programs.
• Promote resident-centered care in a positive environment.
• Step into the Director of Nursing role when needed.
